Diwali is on 19th October. Shopping and all preparations are complete. Today is Dhanteras. Prayers and Sweets are offered to Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Ganesha. May they shower blessings wealth, health and success on all of you. 🙂
I am here to share my shopping with you all. So, let’s start quickly. 😉
New Potpourri @home – Ocean Breeze Fragrance
It’s a very refreshing and mild scent which spreads real good vibes all over! 🙂
Aroma Oil Burners 399 each from Home Centre(Lifestyle)
Both are in the shape of Ganesha… which is really cute and auspicious. 🙂
I bought two oils – lemongrass and ocean breeze. 299 each.
Tried both of them. I felt lemongrass was slightly stronger for my liking. But it’s refreshing. Ocean breeze is floral and aqua kind of fragrance. Matching with my potpourri! ❤
Floating Diyas and Artificial Lotus
Floating candles 100 each from local market, Lotus also for 100. 🙂
Clay diyas prepared
They are not meant to be lightened empty. It is considered inauspicious. So, everyone puts something like popcorn, rice, or wheat. 🙂
More Lights – LED Diyas and Orange Fragrance T-lights
Colours for Rangoli 🙂
Latest Addition : Main Door Decorations
It is believed that if your home is clean, organised and decorated, Godess Lakshmi will come at your home to bless you. So, everyone decorates the home, specially the entrance door to welcome Godess Lakshmi. This was for 500
The door hanging above is for the top front portion of the door. It has a kalash and nariyal(urn and coconut) in the centre which is very auspicious.
I also found these cute little elephant door hangings for both the sides of door. Aren’t they adorable? <3<3 I just saw it and bought it. No second thoughts. 😉 350 for both.
Did you like anything? Please share in the comments. Sorry for not being so active these days. Festivities and preparations keeping me busy 🙂
